Lisa Wolford Joins The Glover Park Group as a Managing Director

WASHINGTON, D.C. – January 5, 2010—The Glover Park Group (GPG) announced that Lisa Wolford has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its New York City office.
Wolford joins GPG from Robinson Lerer & Montgomery (RLM), a corporate and financial communications firm, where she was a partner. A seasoned veteran with more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications, issues management and reputation-building initiatives, Wolford has worked across the industry spectrum and managed critical communication campaigns for some of the nation’s leading corporations.
“Lisa will have an immediate impact on our company and our clients,” said Chip Smith, The Glover Park Group’s Chief Executive Officer. “She has keen insight and a proven track record in shaping the reputations of organizations and building the value of their brands. She brings an important capability to our firm and a new senior presence to our New York office.”
At RLM, Wolford led the firm’s strategic marketing group, overseeing large-scale, integrated communications campaigns that elevate or redefine a company’s reputation and brands among consumers and other stakeholders, helping them to attract customers and achieve other business objectives.

Prior to her tenure with RLM, Wolford worked at Cohn & Wolfe and Ruder Finn Inc., where she created media programs for pharmaceutical and consumer products companies.
Wolford is a graduate of Beloit College with a B.A. in government. She lives in New York City with her husband and toddler twins.
