WASHINGTON, D.C., May 14, 2008 – The Glover Park Group, a leading independent strategic communications company, was a multiple award winner at the 2008 SABRE Awards ceremony last night, and was named both ‘Public Affairs Agency of the Year’ and ‘Specialist Agency of the Year.’ The SABRE Awards are hosted by international public relations news organization, The Holmes Report. The honors were awarded to The Glover Park Group for smart strategy and cutting-edge creativity along with a broad arsenal of capabilities that set it apart from its competitors.
“The Glover Park Group is deeply proud of our success and growth to-date,” said Chip Smith, chief executive officer of The Glover Park Group. “We are grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to help many of the world’s leading corporations, industry associations and non-profits navigate today’s fast-changing legislative, regulatory and reputation environment.“
“The public affairs space is rapidly evolving, as the inter-connections between market activities, reputation and public policy outcomes become increasingly important. Our goal is to help lead this sea-change in our industry by building an unmatched team of experienced and creative consultants who partner with clients to think through complex challenges, develop smart strategies and execute winning campaigns.”
