Susan Kannel
Vice President
Susan Kannel is a Vice President with The Glover Park Group. Kannel uses her skills in quantitative and qualitative research to help The Glover Park Group’s clients to understand public opinion, and to develop, refine and target strategic communications.
While at The Glover Park Group, Kannel has worked with corporations, associations, and foundations on a variety of issues. For the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Kannel did the initial research for and helped design and implement the human resources profession’s first-ever, national communications campaign, highlighting the increasing need for talented HR professionals in US business today. For the Coalition for the Advancement of Medical Research, Kannel conducted research to develop, refine and target messaging to inform the Coalition’s efforts to strengthen support for embryonic stem cell and cast the issue in health care rather than moral terms.
Prior to joining The Glover Park Group, Kannel was a Vice President at Lake Research Partners. At LRP, Kannel worked primarily with foundations, non-profit organizations and academic institutions studying public attitudes about a broad range of social, political, and policy issues. Kannel joined LRP in 1997 after several years as a Research Analyst and Project Director at Princeton Survey Research Associates.
A native of Boston, Susan graduated summa cum laude from Union College and has done graduate work in American Politics at Princeton University.
