Matthew Beck

Matthew Beck is a Vice President in the Public Affairs and Marketing divisions at The Glover Park Group with a focus on financial services.

Prior to joining GPG, Beck served as the Communications Director and Policy Advisor for the Majority Staff of the U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means, managing strategic communications and media relations for the body. Beck also worked with Committee Members, Congressional Leadership, and Administration Officials to develop and coordinate a wide range of federal policies pertaining to taxes, trade, health care and social welfare.

Prior to his work on the Ways and Means Committee, Beck managed communications and media relations for U.S. Representative Sander Levin, the late U.S. Representative Robert Matsui and U.S. Representative Brian Baird.

A graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, Beck majored in International Relations with a minor in Spanish.

He currently lives in Virginia with his wife and young son.
