Kristine Fitton
Managing Director
Kristine Fitton is a Managing Director at The Glover Park Group, specializing in the strategic development and execution of integrated communications campaigns. In more than five years at the firm, she has applied her background in consumer research, advertising and public affairs to help build the firm’s corporate reputation practice.
While at The Glover Park Group, Fitton has crafted positioning platforms for corporate clients, such as Visa and Pfizer, and has developed messaging for a range of industry and professional associations. She has also unlocked insights that have served as the foundation of award-winning advocacy advertising campaigns for the ACLU and the US Telecom Association.
Prior to joining The Glover Park Group, Fitton worked for more than four years in the New York headquarters of McCann-Erickson Worldwide, one of the largest advertising agencies in the world. At McCann, she conducted all facets of strategic planning, developing global brand repositioning plans for clients ranging from GM to CARE International. She also managed a proprietary consumer insight network, which served as an incubator and idea generator for some of the agency’s most creative advertising campaigns.
Fitton previously worked in the Thought Leadership group of Accenture, helping to launch and market the consulting firm’s e-commerce practice. She was also a Senior Associate in the Sawyer Miller consulting group at BSMG in Washington, DC, where she managed day-to-day public affairs account work for Amtrak, BellSouth and Ingersoll-Rand.
Fitton began her career in the press office of Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) and was later a communications associate at the National Association of Manufacturers, where she served as a national press contact and key writer of speeches and op-eds.
Fitton earned an M.S. degree in marketing communications from Northwestern University and a B.A. degree in political science from Holy Cross College.
