Duane Wright
Vice President
Duane Wright is a Vice President at The Glover Park Group and specializes in government relations, strategic planning and public policy. Wright joined The Glover Park Group from America’s Health Insurance Plans, where he was Vice President of Federal Affairs, working with Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee as well as House Energy and Commerce and Ways and Means Committees. During this time he focused on Medicaid, CHIP, and health care reform.
Prior to joining AHIP, Wright worked on Capitol Hill for six years. From 2001 to 2005 he was a Legislative Assistant for Senator Tom Carper of Delaware, where he focused on health care and social policy. He also worked for Senator Bob Graham and Congressman Jim Davis of Florida, where he handled energy and environment issues for both Members.
Wright holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a JD from The George Washington University.
