David Cantor
Managing Director
David Cantor is a Managing Director with The Glover Park Group, with a background in market analysis, research and polling.
He has led landmark quantitative and qualitative research projects on an array of issues for corporations, political candidates, ballot initiative campaigns, labor organizations, major foundations, and non-profit organizations. Cantor provides a wealth of public opinion research expertise on policy and advocacy issues, from education to corporate regulatory affairs.
Prior to joining the firm, Cantor was Vice President at Lake Snell Perry & Associates, Inc. At Lake Cantor worked on political campaigns across the country and led the environmental and health care policy research teams. He also designed, managed and analyzed the prestigious bipartisan Battleground poll.
Before joining LSPA, Cantor worked as Vice President and senior research analyst for Abacus Associates, a Massachusetts polling firm where he worked for political candidates and did extensive research on attitudes toward public education across the country.
A native of Philadelphia, Cantor received his B.A. in History from Williams College and his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Maryland. He is an adjunct faculty member of the George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management. He lives with his wife and two children in Arlington, Virginia.
