Chris Lisi is a Vice President with The Glover Park Group. She brings more than a decade of experience in public relations, marketing and political communications.

Before joining GPG, Lisi served as AARP’s Communications Strategy Director overseeing all communications efforts around the Association’s health care initiatives.  She was responsible for managing a multi million dollar budget supporting AARP’s health and election-related initiatives, including paid and earned communications activities, outreach to its 38 million members and message management across the organization’s 53 state offices.  Additionally, Lisi developed and managed a national communications campaign supporting the launch of the Medicare Prescription Drug Program (Part D).

From 2003 to 2005 Lisi was Deputy Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Mark Dayton.  She also served as a member of American Women in Radio and Television and as a member of the National Press Club.  Additionally, Lisi served on the Senate Press Secretaries Association Board of Directors.

Before joining Dayton’s staff, Lisi worked at Fleishman-Hillard where she won both a Creativity in Public Relations Award (CIPRA) and a Media Bulldog Award for her team’s work on the Cap Gemini Ernst & Young HIPAA Compliance campaign and the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation’s Colossal Colon National Tour.  In 2002, Lisi’s work on AARP’s Grief and Loss campaign earned her team a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Silver Anvil nomination and recognition as finalists for a PRWeek award.

Prior to Fleishman-Hillard, Lisi worked at the political Internet company Voter.com as Director of Media Relations where she was responsible for managing day-to-day national media relations efforts.  Lisi has also worked at Squier Knapp Dunn, one of the nation’s leading political media consulting firms and in The White House in Vice President Gore’s office.
