Josh Lahey is a Vice-President with the Glover Park Group and brings a wealth of experience in political and corporate campaigns to the firm.
Lahey joined the Glover Park Group from Ginsberg Lahey, LLC, which he founded and was managing partner of from 2000 to 2004. At Ginsberg Lahey, he handled the firm's corporate and legal research work while also overseeing Ginsberg Lahey’s core business of political campaign consulting.
At his firm, Lahey worked on a number of high-profile public relations and legal fights for Fortune 25 financial institutions as well as a top Wall Street investment house and one of the largest advocacy and member organizations in the United States. Ginsberg Lahey’s political clients included the successful campaigns Congressional campaigns of Allyson Schwartz, John Dingell, Harold Ford and Patrick Kennedy and numerous other statewide and issue advocacy campaigns.
Before founding the firm, Lahey worked as Senior Advisor to Carter Eskew, Vice President Al Gore's chief strategist during the 2000 Presidential campaign and recount, and played a key role in Gore's creative, polling, and message teams while working from the Nashville war room.
During 1998 and 1999, Lahey worked as an Account Manager for Shrum, Devine and Donilon, a Democratic media consulting firm, and worked with clients such as John Edwards of North Carolina and corporate clients such as Microsoft and Pizza Hut.
Lahey graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and currently lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Amy.
