Kannel provides public opinion research and message development expertise to GPG. Prior to joining GPG, Kannel was a Vice President at Lake Research Partners. At LRP, Kannel worked primarily with foundations, non-profit organizations and academic institutions studying public attitudes about a broad range of social, political, and policy issues including: health and healthcare; education; employment; government assistance programs; death and dying; and sexuality and reproductive health. At LRP Kannel developed an expertise in using innovative quantitative and qualitative research techniques to address complex, sensitive subjects, often with under-studied populations. Kannel joined LRP in 1997 after several years as a Research Analyst and Project Director at Princeton Survey Research Associates. A native of Boston, Kannel graduated summa cum laude from Union College and has done graduate work in American Politics at Princeton University.
